We came here while visiting the area from out of state. I had the New England Fish Fry and my fiancé had buffalo chicken tenders. We both enjoyed our food. We sat at the bar at lunch time and the service was good and the bartender was friendly. And the drinks were good too!

Wonderful find. Some friends and i went hiking out this way and needed somewhere for lunch. A Google search led us here! I had the New England burger which was delicious. Cooked perfectly (medium-well) and still juicy. The waffle fries, which I usually don't like as whenever I have had them previously, were always greasy and never crips, were stunningly fantastic here. Crunch, perfectly cooked, not at all greasy. Our waitress was knowledgeable and kind, if a bit slow, but nothing too bad at all. Their menu options are very good, and you can check it out online. I love the ambiance and decor. I love all the natural wood on the floor, walls, etc. It has a fairly spacious parking lot.

Fantastic lunch here in March 2024. They were nice enough to give us a basket of 1/2 sweet potato + waffle fries with our meals. My Reuben was perfect. The tenderloin chocken was great no idea which local beer I got - but it was great.

We ordered the chicken wings. It was very good. But the ribeye steak that we ordered in medium rare came as well done. A little disappointed but it was still ok. The service was acceptable. Price was reasonable and the wait was short.

Would recommend and would return! Great local spot with a down home tavern feel. Started with a basket of hot crisp waffle fries, perfect. The waitress suggested a chipotle mayo for dipping and it really elevated the fries. I had the tavern Reuben which was packed with pastrami, really hit the spot. My wife had a massive grilled chicken salad. Very fairly priced for high quality tavern favorites. Friendly and professional staff which was the icing on the cake.
